Wider Locations & Outdoor Services

Bringing Progressive Jewish life, worship, and connection into spaces across Hertfordshire.

Beyond our primary campuses in Radlett and Elstree, HPS hosts regular services, support groups, and outdoor gatherings across wider Hertfordshire to ensure our community remains accessible to everyone in our region.

Welwyn Services To support our growing membership across Central and North Hertfordshire, we hold regular satellite Friday Night and Saturday Morning Shabbat services and festival gatherings in the Welwyn area. These regional services bring our inclusive liturgy, rabbinic teaching, and warm community atmosphere directly to members living in and around Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, and surrounding towns.

Memory Café at Christ Church

In partnership with our local neighbors, we host a warm, monthly Memory Café at Christ Church. Designed specifically for individuals living with dementia or memory loss, alongside their carers and family members, the café provides a safe, welcoming space for conversation, music, gentle activities, and peer support over tea and cake.

Walking Services (Tefilah B'Teva)

Throughout the year, we take our prayers outdoors into the scenic Hertfordshire countryside. Our Walking Services blend traditional Shabbat readings, vocal music, and quiet reflection with a gentle group walk. It offers a refreshing, spiritual way to experience prayer surrounded by the natural world.

Picnic Services in Radlett

During the warmer spring and summer months, we host informal outdoor Shabbat and festival services in local Radlett park spaces. Members bring blankets, camping chairs, and picnics for relaxed acoustic singing, kid-friendly blessings, and a shared afternoon in the sunshine.
